RCWE visits Rotary Club of Collie Twenty RCWE members, family and friends visited Collie on the weekend of 16-17 October 2021. They were welcomed by Rotary Club of Collie members who organized and excellent program of events for the weekend. Led by Past President John Bylund and current president Neil Martin, the Collie club showed us most of the 40 murals in Collie, the underground mine exhibition, open cut mines, Collie museum, Collie art gallery, Minningup Pool, Lake Kepawarri, the giant Premier mine shovel and other scenic parts of the Collie area. For some, the highlight was a “race” around the Collie Motorplex in our bus. A visit to Collie is recommended for all who haven’t visited. The 8000 sqm Wellington dam Mural, “Reflections” is just stunning. And if you have other preferences Gnomesville is nearby! | |
